Hello all! I wanted to make a pin board for my cubicle that match my cubicle decor. Here is what I did:
Material List:
Cork board 12X12
Embellishments, off white flowers, clips and decorative paper
Double sided tape (strong)
Fabric of your choice, at least 18X18
Hot glue
Foam Dimensional
Ribbon
Distress Ink
Scissors
11.5X11.5 piece of cardstock (not shown here)
Use the strong double sided tape to stick the cork board to the material (see below).
Flip the cork board onto the material and cut out the corner.
Use a hot glue gun to glue the material on the back side of the cork board.
Tuck in the corners and glue them down.
Should look like this.
Glue the rest of the edges onto the cork board.
The back of your cork board should look like this.
Front of the board:
Cut 1.5 inch piece of ribbon and loop it. Glue onto the board, shown in the background here.
Glue your 11.5X11.5 cardstock a to the back of your cork board, covering everything on the back.
Ink the edges with distress ink.
Add ribbon but only glue the back of it. Do not glue the front because you want to be able to add things to the front on the ribbon.
Ink your corrugate paper, I used the same green as I used to ink the edges.
Glue the flowers to the the corrugate paper, then flip over and add foam dimensional to the lower back of the corrugate paper. I used hot glue to ensure they don't all off.
Glue the corrugate paper to your board. I also used hot glue here so that it makes a strong bond. Add the clip for decoration.
